I love how when you google translate something from Japanese to English, you get some kind of “psychedelic-language-of-awesomeness”

Shooting this image was a thrill.
I have been wanting to execute this idea for the longest time, and finally everything fell into place and we were able to make it happen.
I created a fake “heart” using dough and food coloring, and it was important to me that all the lighting be correct.
I knew I needed Oded, the guy with the glasses to have light coming from below, so we both faked it with a gelled flash,
And actually shot with a burning torch, to make sure the light quality and direction fell correctly
Thank you to everyone who took part, couldn’t have done it without you!
