One of the shots we planned was having the whole crew of the brewery- including the Ceo to be "surfing" down the main brewery floor area, where the large vats that make the beer are stored.
This area is quite large, and lit, well, like a factory. I wanted to utilize the high reflectivity of the surfaces of the vats to give the space an exciting look and feel that would convey the "spirit" of the brewery and its crew.
I was commissioned by Redland London to create an Ad for their new colorful line of suitcases.
Inspired by My surreal work 'The Lemon farmer' they wanted to create something with a downpour of lemons. I thought it can work if the lemons show off the durability of the suitcases, and the whole 'you will be prepared for anything with this luggage' state of mind.
This image has a lot of meaning to me. My wife and I recently recovered from quite a traumatic period in our lives. After this difficult time, I felt that she emerged from that shipwreck of an ordeal as a real hero, while I still feel bogged down, drowning and engulfed by jellyfish, not completely out yet. Creating this image is my way of illustrating the situation in a way I can share with others.
